Tamlynne
I am the Lead Guide in the Owl Class and the Deputy Head of the Preschool. I studied at Montessori Centre S.A. and have been a teacher for 4 years.
Before this, I was an air hostess for 5 years. During this time, I’ve learned the skill of patience which has indeed come in handy for my teaching profession. I have an adorable baby girl named Eden, who brings sunshine to my life every day.
In my spare time, I like to take photographs, watch Formula 1 and go for walks with dog Jäger. I relax by working in the garden and tending to my plants.

Tauhira
I am a Guide in the Owl Class. I studied at Montessori Centre S.A. and have been teaching for 2 years. I couldn’t have made a better career choice.
I have a beautiful little boy named Zaakir, who is my whole world.
I love being outdoors and spending time with my family. In my spare time, I like to be adventurous and try new things. I enjoy cooking, long walks on the beach and an occasional games night.
When I started doing arts and crafts at school, I realised that this was something I enjoyed. I run the Art and Craft Club at school.

Weaver Class – Toddler
2 to 3 years

Bianca
I am the Lead Guide in the Toddler Class and have completed a childcare course 6 years ago. I originally worked with special needs children until I began with Piccolo Montessori as an Aftercare Teacher. I enjoy working with the little ones and watching them develop through their milestones. I am also the school’s Staff Representative.
I have a joyful little girl, Biane’, who is in the Owl Class. In my spare time
I like to go to the park with my family and take my little dog for a walk.
I enjoy being outdoors in the summer and winter.
Now and then I treat myself, and get my hair and nails done for some ‘me time’. To relax, I enjoy lying on the couch and watching a good movie, especially a romance or country. I run the Yoga Club at school.

Sharon
I am an Assistant Guide in the Weaver Class and work with toddlers.
My hobbies are cycling, renovating furniture, pottery, hiking, visiting museums, and going for walks on the beach. I enjoy a good documentary, drama, comedy or just listening to music. I loved horse riding when I was younger.
I was an assistant for an animal hospital and worked in their Pet Hotel. I still help families with pet sitting when they go on holiday. I’ve always had a passion for helping children and animals. I’m against any injustice toward anyone especially, children, the elderly, and animals. I have great respect for humans who care for our planet. I look forward to seeing the children flourish and blossom as they grow in this beautiful environment.

I’m an active person. I enjoy running long-distance races and hiking.
I like to read books about adventure and romance with a good cup of coffee. I’m also a girly girl. My favourite colour is pink. I love going to the salon to get my nails and toes painted, facials and massages.

My favourite colour is lilac. I am very excited about my new journey in education and look forward to my future experiences at Piccolo Montessori.

Mandy

I started my teaching career with Bella Donna Finishing School which I founded in 2009. After selling over 40 franchises, I sold the business which is still running from Portugal.

I have 4 children and 3 fur babies. I enjoy reading autobiographies and anything to do with child development. My husband and I enjoy caravaning, traveling, and creating experiences that will be happy memories for us to look back on one day. I have started studying for my Intermediate Phase degree with the Two Oceans Institute (Grades 4 – 6).

Cordelia
I am part of the support staff in the Tutor centre school. I have been working with Mandy for 19 years.
I have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, cooking and sewing.

Andre
I have been appointed as an Administrator at the Piccolo Montessori school with effect from 1 July 2024.
Believe it or not, when I was in High School, I wanted to become a teacher. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to change that dream. It is therefore ironic that now in my later years, an opportunity has arisen at Piccolo Montessori to assist as an Administrator.
I have many years of experience in the property and facilities management field as well as setting up ISO 9001 systems. I have much experience in Health and Safety protocols which I learned at a Catamaran Sailing Yacht company. Currently, I assist my wife with her short-term insurance business, in an Admin capacity.
I have 2 boys and an adorable grandson, who is 1 year old. He is our main hobby, and we are fortunate to be able to see him regularly. We help my son and daughter-in-law with babysitting duties to afford them a much-deserved break.
My other hobbies are collecting die-cast cars like Hot Wheels and gardening. I also love watching sports events. I play some Golf when I have the chance and go for walks with my wife. Lastly, I also enjoy reading, especially autobiographies. My family is everything to me.
